This month we wanted to inspire our subscribers to 'escape'. Not literally... but also 'literally'. Reading is one of the best ways to strengthen your brain and a growing body of research lists a number of ways in which grabbing a book and escaping into a novel can positively affect your life.
Using MRI scans, researchers have confirmed that reading uses a complex network of circuits and signals within the brain. As your reading ability matures, these networks also strengthen and become more sophisticated.
